Bilig Bayar began his career in education as a TFA corps member, teaching at Uncommon Leadership Prep Bedford-Stuyvesant. Prior to joining Hebrew Public, Bilig held various instructional roles at Ascend Brownsville Lower School and PAVE Academy Charter School, where he led school-wide curriculum initiatives, provided holistic coaching to teachers and instructional leaders, and drove significant gains in student achievement. He is passionate about strengthening instructional quality, building effective team systems, and creating exceptional experiences for staff, students, and families.
Bilig earned his bachelor’s degree in History, with a minor in Political Science, from Virginia Tech and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. Outside of work, he enjoys meditating, reading history and philosophy, and practicing traditional Mongolian archery.
