Founding Principal

T’helah Ben-Dan comes to Olam Charlotte with over a decade of teaching and coaching experience, with a strong background in teaching Hebrew to learners of all ages. For the past five years, she’s served as the Deputy Director of TALMA: The Israel Program for Excellence in English, where she oversees a summer teaching fellowship, and directs US-based development and recruitment efforts. T’helah resides in Charlotte with her family, where she’s lived since 2014. She holds an MA in Teaching Hebrew as a Second Language, an MS in Early Childhood Services, and a BA in African & African-American Studies. As a committed educator, Hebrew language enthusiast, and mom, T’helah is honored to lead Olam Charlotte in providing an excellent, well-rounded education for her community.
