Camilla Mardechaiev

Dean of Hebrew Instruction

Camilla is entering her third year at HLA. She has spent 20 years as an elementary and middle school educator, with expertise in special education and the Hebrew language. Her educational experience includes teaching special education classes and mentoring Hebrew teachers in various schools in Israel.
Camilla believes that the pursuit of knowledge, learning and growth provides the tools students need to live productive and independent lives. As educators, we must impart this message to our students.
Camilla holds a M.Ed in Language Education in a Multicultural Society from Levinsky College in Tel Aviv, teaching certificates in Special Education, and a Post Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University.
In her free time, she likes to travel and spend time with her family.
