Tashiah is committed to increasing educational access and equity for all students and families. With a background in direct service-related roles, city government, and the education nonprofit sector, Tashiah brings over 9 years of experience in recruitment, learning and development, and operations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice at Rutgers University – Newark and her MPA at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service with a concentration in Management and Leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys fitness-related activities, exploring new restaurants and recipes, and traveling.
