Katie Scrantom

Director of Talent Operations

Katie Scrantom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Education (Spanish/English) from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters in the Psychology of Childhood Adversity from Queen’s University Belfast, UK.  Her Masters research entailed interviewing youth from segregated schools in Northern Ireland to highlight the psychosocial benefits of art-based peacebuilding programs in post-conflict settings.   She is also the co-founder of a community-based educational program in northern Uganda for children orphaned by conflict.   Katie has worked as a teacher and social worker in various domestic and international settings, which eventually led her to Talent work in the education sector. Katie loves music, singing, yoga, meditation, and nature.  She is so proud to be part of the Hebrew Public team!
