Katie Scrantom

Director of Talent Operations

Katie Scrantom joined Hebrew Public in 2016 and has worked in education for nearly two decades, dedicating herself to creating environments that nurture the whole child. She has taught in various international settings, including Chicago, Northern Ireland, and Spain. Additionally, she co-founded a community-based educational program in northern Uganda to support children orphaned by conflict and conducted research in Northern Ireland on the socio-emotional benefits of art-based peacebuilding programs for youth. Katie holds a Bachelor’s in Bilingual Education from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s in the Psychology of Childhood Adversity from Queen’s University Belfast, UK. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys singing, yoga, meditation, and spending time in nature.
