Every year, Hebrew Public will offer our graduating 8^th graders an opportunity to travel to Israel for a Capstone trip – a trip that solidifies their nine years of Hebrew and Israel studies in Hebrew charter schools.

For most Hebrew Public students, the trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Many have never had a chance to explore other countries and are traveling by airplane for the first time. They will be in Israel for nine days, experiencing the country and meeting their peers – experiences that we hope will last a lifetime and will deepen their understanding of Israel and respect for different cultures.

We are seeking funding towards the Capstone Israel Trip Scholarship Fund. This funding will support scholarships of $3,000 per student to give them the gift of experiencing Israel. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference  — our goal is to give the gift of an experience in Israel to EVERY Hebrew Public graduating 8^th grader.

בכל שנה תינתן לבוגרי כיתה ח’ האפשרות לנסוע לישראל במסגרת ” Capstone trip” – טיול אשר משלים ומאחד את תשע שנות לימודי העברית ולימודי ישראל

לרוב התלמידים, טיול זה הוא הזדמנות של פעם בחיים. לרבים מהם מעולם לא היתה האפשרות לבקר במדינות אחרות, ולמעשה זו תהיה הפעם הראשונה שהם יטוסו במטוס. התלמידים ישהו בישראל למשך 9 ימים, יחקרו את ארץ ישראל ויפגשו תלמידים בני גילם –  חוויות אשר ישארו עימם לכל החיים, יעמיקו את ההבנה שלהם על ישראל ואת הכבוד שהם רוכשים לתרבויות שונות

אנו תרים אחר תרומות עבור מימון מלגות לצורך הטיול לישראל. תרומות אלה יהוו חלק ממלגה בסך 3,000$ לתלמיד, עבור החוויה שבהכרת ארץ ישראל. כל תרומה, גדולה או קטנה, יכולה לעשות את ההבדל – המטרה שלנו היא להעניק את מתנת הכרת ארץ ישראל לכל תלמיד המסיים את כיתה ח
