Welcome to Hebrew Public!

Hebrew Public is leading a national movement of exceptional, diverse public charter schools that teach Modern Hebrew to children of all backgrounds and prepare them to be successful global citizens.

At Hebrew Public, we understand that this school year is not going to be like any other. We offer a choice between a fully remote learning model to a hybrid learning model, we put the safety of your children first.

On days our students will be in our buildings in small groups for in-person learning, we have put in place procedures to ensure safety as much as possible — from no-touch thermometers to mask-wearing and social distancing — we will do what it takes to keep our community healthy.

Harlem Hebrew and HLA (Mill Basin) offer In-school Kindergarten instruction 4 days a week.

Harlem Hebrew offers free private busing from the Bronx.

Our schools offer a choice between remote learning and a hybrid model (remote and in-school learning).

Our curriculum has been modified to support remote learning.
