Jordan began her career in education working as a bilingual classroom teacher through Teach for America at New Millennium Business Academy in the South Bronx. She continued to teach in New York at the Dwight School for several more years before transitioning to school leadership in Chicago. She served as an assistant principal at UNO Sandra Cisneros for four years focusing on student data analysis, staff development, and school culture. Jordan has a bachelor’s degree with high honors from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in elementary education with a bilingual concentration from Pace University.
