A BEAUTIFUL EVENT; A GREAT CAUSE

We are still glowing with pride from our first ever “Autumnfest,” an event that drew supporters and their families – 300 people in all – to the beautiful home of Michael and Judy Steinhardt in Bedford, N.Y., for a day of apple-picking, cider-making, a private tour of the Steinhardt’s unique animal collection, a special performance by the HLA Children’s Choir, chess matches, soccer, ping-pong, and other family-friendly games. The day may have started out misty, but the sun did ultimately shine through and gave us a perfect afternoon.  We are truly grateful.

Events like Autumnfest help advance the caliber of education in our network schools – in New York City (Brooklyn and Harlem), East Brunswick N.J., Washington D.C., San Diego, and Los Angeles. Our newest school will open in Minneapolis in 2015.
